The Lady Southern Cross is missing - Investigating theory 3

So far you have seen the evidence for theories 1 and 2, however there is a third theory, and more evidence.

Your task, like before, is to look at all the evidence, decide how persuasive it is, explain why the disaster happened, and which theory you support from the final collection of evidence.

You will need to examine the evidence and decide which theory it applies to (1, 2 or 3). You also need to 'rate' the evidence as Very convincing , Fairly convincing or Not very convincing . You do this by selecting a star rating and clicking on the submit button.

Evaluate the evidence for theories 1, 2 and 3

Jimmy Melrose was an experienced long distance pilot. He recorded and was certain that what he saw at the time was flames from the Lady Southern Cross exhausts, and not anything else.

Evidence 6

Jimmy Melrose claimed to have seen the flames from the exhausts of the Lady Southern Cross well south of Aye Island. Some commentators have said that the light trail he saw could have been the track of a meteor.

A summary table will be constructed as you go of which theory or theories each piece of evidence supports, and presented once you have considered each evidence file.
