With the help of your teacher, why don’t you put together all of the food in a soldier’s rations. (Instead of bully beef, you could use a tinned meat like ‘Spam’.)

Why not use this recipe to make some ANZAC biscuits?

Recipe for ANZAC Biscuits

1 Cup Flour
155 gms Butter
1 Cup Rolled Oats
1 Level Teaspoon Bicarb Soda
1 Cup Coconut
1 Tablespoon Golden Syrup
1 Cup Sugar
2 Tablespoons Water

Combine flour, oats, coconut and sugar. Add melted butter. Mix syrup, bicarb soda and hot water and add to other ingredients. Mix well. Drop in small pieces on greased tray. Bake in slow to moderate oven 10 - 20 minutes. Allow to cool slightly on tray before removing.
